Skiva heter 'From Nothing' og dukker opp via Shelsmusic kommende mandag.

Mulig dette er et ukjent navn og referanser for deg, det var det delvis for meg ihvertfall, men jeg kjører på med en saksing fra et skriv jeg fikk: "Shelsmusic, the label that brought you debut albums by Black Sheep Wall, Mahumodo, *shels, Admiral Angry, Erlen Meyer, Latitudes, Down I Go and beyond is excited to introduce its newest addition to the familia - Attan from Norway and their crushing debut EP From Nothing."

Det er nordlendinger vi snakker om, og selskapet vet å promotere den kjølige edgen :). "Hailing from the far northern border of Norway where, in the band's own words there's nothing but ice and darkness the group spent just two weekend sessions recording and mixing their debut EP in a barn, in the village of Lunner. Originally intended to help score some shows – the EP found it's way to shelsmusic HQ where it was a no-brainer, and Love... at first... throat-shredding bleeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurgh!"

"Crushing, doom-laden passages lay nestled in ferocious tracks that rage, from start to finish. Filthy, tortured vocals are offset by brutal backing roars and against a dark, twisted and relentless assault – an overall intensity that brings to mind Imprint era Vision of Disorder or the first Will Haven EP – but, this is uniquely Attan in all it's dark and twisted glory - and it's little surprise the Norwegian 5-piece list the likes of Converge, Emperor, Neurosis, Will Haven and VOD among their influences.

With a reputation for blistering live shows the band has already built a strong following and recently played to packed venues around Norway.
