Raging Speedhorn, oppdatering

Oppdatering på Raging Speedhorn, takk til Tom Brumpton for tips.

«Corby sludge demons Raging Speedhorn have finally announced the release date of their long awaited new album.»

‘Lost Ritual’ kommer 15. juli, de som er med på denne pledgekampanjen, får kopien sin en ukes tid før.  Pledge HER.

Gitarist  Jim Palmer forteller litt om skiva og tittelen: «This album seems like a true reflection of everyone’s input, a slice of all of us, if you will. It has those typical Speedhorn, pumping rock n roll moments, and some much darker ones too. Sound wise, it’s got all the feedback, distortion, bad attitude and in-your-face antics you’d expect with a sound that should be more familiar to Speedhorn fans, but with a twist.

The title of the album, Lost Ritual, came initially from the artwork. It just seemed to fit perfectly with the image. Subconsciously though, I think maybe the title fits even better than that, as the mojo in the band seems to be back. Speedhorn have finally returned. We are really excited for everyone to hear the new album; you won’t be disappointed!»

Nyhet fra 20.01.16:

«Following on from a hectic two years of touring and festival appearances, Sludge overlords Raging Speedhorn are set to enter the studio with acclaimed producer Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, The Wildhearts) on January 18th in Kettering to begin work on their latest album. Their first record with original vocalist Frank Regan since How The Great Have Fallen in 2005, and the first with their new line up.»

Trommeslager  Gordon Morison forteller om det kommende albumet: «We’re hitting the recording studio this Monday coming, and we can’t fucking wait! It’s been a long time coming. We’re going to be recording the new record at Parlour studios with the mighty Russ Russell. We can guarantee that fans of classic Speedhorn will love the new album!»

Skiva har ennå ikke fått noen tittel, releasedato ligger i samme gata;
«…senere i år.»

Nyhet fra 09.07.15:

Tom Brumpton delte dette med oss.

Bandet kjører en såkalt pledge-kampanje, hvor folk kan være med å bygge opp det økonomiske fundamentet for skiveslipp.

«Following on from their near sell out tour, stunning sets at Sonisphere, Damnation & Hammerfest, returning sludge overlords Raging Speedhorn are set to launch a Pledge campaign for their hotly anticipated fifth album.

Set to release the record later this year, the band have been teasing fans with the prospect of a new record since their return in February 2014. Earlier this year, the band released their brand new single Halfway To Hell which was praised widely by fans and media alike.»

Trommeslager Gordon forteller: «I’m really happy to announce that Raging Speedhorn will be recording a new record this year. We’re going to be teaming up with the guys at Pledge music for the as of yet untitled 5th record. We’ve always had amazing fans and now they have the chance to pledge and help us make the record, and in the mean time they can access exclusive content as well as getting their hands on limited edition pledge-only signed CDs, vinyl, screen prints and T-shirts, as well as Pledge-exclusive gigs, signed drum skins and much more.»
