Bandet om singelen: «For Hot Under The Collar we wanted to keep it simple and show our fun side again, which has always been a staple in the band’s persona. At the same time, we wanted to create something fresh, but we also wanted to incorporate the song’s lyrics and create a construction site theme.

Given the time restraints (we only had one day to shoot the video), including a Lazys die-hard fan (who was included in the video via our Kickstarter Fundraiser), and the logistical challenges of being on an actual construction site, the idea of shooting in front of a white cyc wall emerged.»
