«With Rites Of Disclosure, Elvenking close one of the most ambitious and defining chapters of their career. Conceived as a companion and epilogue to the Reader of the Runes trilogy, the release is not a traditional studio album, but a carefully curated collection that bridges past and present while pointing toward the band’s future. The original idea emerged from a desire to give a physical home to several standalone singles recorded between the trilogy’s chapters — songs that were digitally released but never made it onto a physical format.

During the Luna sessions, two additional tracks were recorded, one original and one cover, continuing a tradition Elvenking had established with the previous albums of the saga. When the opportunity arose to contribute a Children of Bodom cover to a tribute project, the band decided to expand the concept: instead of entering the studio for a single track, they added further covers and composed two entirely new songs, turning the project into something far more substantial. At its heart, the album embraces openness and interpretation.

The lyrics invite listeners to find their own meanings, whether through personal experiences, emotional parallels, or purely imaginative journeys. Rites Of Disclosure is not only an ending — it is a moment of reflection, gratitude, and transformation, capturing Elvenking at a point where legacy and evolution meet.»
